Which, in hindsight, was less humility and more self-doubt.

But here’s what I’ve noticed: Most people don’t have an audience problem.

They have a clarity problem.

They’re so worried about saying the wrong thing that they end up saying nothing memorable. They’re so focused on being taken seriously that they become forgettable.
